Zoey's Blessing

Today we blessed Zoey Elizabeth Wagner. Here is a great story-- So last week we told a member of the bishopric that we were planning on blessing Zoey next Sunday- He said that would be no problem. So yesterday I asked Zack to call the bishop to remind him of the blessing- So he did but he had to leave a message because the bishop did not answer. So we arrive at church early And no one in the bishopric says anything to us so Zack goes and tries to find the bishop but before Zack could find the bishop goes up on the stand- So sacrament meeting starts and the go through all of the anoucements and ward business but there is not a mention of Zoey's blessing. So the bishop annouces the Sacrament song and we have the sacrament song and the sacrament- So Zack asked Brother Wiebe who was passing the sacrament if he could let the bishop know about our blessing- So during the water Brother Wiebe who was passing the water to the bishop talked to him. So when the sacrament was over we blessed Zoey- It was one of those what do you do moments. I decided in my head that if we had to bless Zoey after sacrament in a private room that would be just fine.But that did not have to happen!

After church we went to Stoney Creek Metro Park- When we went on Friday the place was almost empty- Today it was a very busy place we rented paddle boats and had a fun time!
